Adult Classes

Tribe Body is one of the only dance studios to have a robust adult dance program. The adult program allows you to buy a class card in different quantities and take various dance classes on demand. Classes span multiple styles and levels, so adults can drop in whether they’re brand new, returning after a break, or training consistently.

A Lifetime Of Achievement And Adventure Through Dance.

Tracy Flaherty is a New Jersey native who began dancing at the age of three. She started her dance experience at the Irene Fokine School in Ridgewood, NJ where a lifelong passion and commitment to the art of dance was born.

Tracy’s dance training includes the Irene Fokine School of Ballet; Joffrey School of Ballet, The American Ballet School; and the American Dance Machine. Tracy’s professional credits include being an Equity member with the American Dance Machine where she was under the direction of the famed Broadway musical choreographer and performer, Lee Theodore. Other credits include commercials, movies, and special events such asb ABC Omnibus Theatre, and the Chita Riveria Tribute. Over the years Tracy has performed with Dick Cavet, Paul Sorvino, Gwen Verdon, Lucy Arnez, Anne Reinking, Chita Riveria and Syd Charisee.

The level of dance instruction is superior. The dancers don’t just learn one dance for a year end performance but rather learn how to dance in all styles. Debra is a great instructor with a high level of expertise in Pilates and Dance instruction and a very positive and relaxed attitude. She is so supportive in helping me restore strength and flexibility following a leg injury. The studio space is the best I’ve seen in NJ. It’s spacious and clean and well equipped. I only tried one Ballet class so far but I will consider trying others soon. There are a variety of Adult Dance/Fitness classes on the schedule so I will try some others.
